Some of Koro Tini's relations came and helped the girls learn poi and actions today. The girls had a great time. We hope they will use this video to help them practice the actions at home.

18 October

Today eight of the Kapa Haka students performed at a powhiri for the St Vincent de Paul conference at the Sudima Hotel. The students were fantastic and the overseas guests were impressed with the welcome they received.

We had a longer practice today - from 1.30pm. Koro Tini brought along three of his cousins and his Aunty to help the girls learn poi and a new waiata.

Thanks to Mr Warbrick for his help with repairing some of the equipment we use.

Thanks to to the parents who turned up on 16 October at 7pm to help finish making some more poi. Should've taken some photos of them busy cutting foam and sewing plaits onto the foam. Your assistance is very much appreciated. Thank you.
